Sisters Under Cover

Sisters, what should we do when we don’t know what to do? How should we deal with situations that shock, hurt, and maybe even disappoint us? Sisters, everything we need is in Gods word. Every situation or its equivalent, can be found if only we would search the scriptures. As my pastor would say, “it’s like PREGO, it’s in there!” Often when we need answers, Gods word is the last resort instead of the first. Instead of finding out how God wants us to handle a situation, we start playing games like Who Wants to be a Millionaire! First, we want to phone a friend, then we take a poll from an audience of peers, then we check google. When we find that we are still not satisfied with the answers that we have obtained, then we want to throw all the mess together and pray that God will do a 50/50 and remove two of the wrong answers. However, when we finally make it to the Word of God, He will give us what we need. Gods word is full of life’s lessons. Let’s reference Genesis 9:20-23, go read it! Shem and Japheth demonstrated what we need to do in a situation such as this. Instead of running to tell everyone that they knew, they covered him up so that no one else could see him in that condition. Sisters we need to take heed and follow this biblical example! How you may ask? Well its very simple. Sisters, if you look upon my nakedness, would you please cover me? Now sisters when I speak of nakedness, Im not speaking literally, sisters if you see me slipping will you cover me in prayer? Will you just pray for me and not talk about it to the world? Sisters, if you see that I need help, if you see that im not doing well spiritually, or maybe even physically, will you just cover me?
